I first started using it at the recommendations of my eye doctor (in combination with Lutein) to treat possible onset of dry macular degeneration. Two years later, the photos are clean and my vision has improved to the point that I needed new glasses at a lower prescription. It's supposed to be very high in antioxidants, with no known side effects, so I don't see any downside to adding it to my daily vitamin regimen. I see reviews saying it's a miracle, and reviews saying it's an old wives tale. I just know it has worked for me! 5
