Must Have if you have body odorSo if you suffer from body odor. These are a must have, Especially for teenagers going through puberty But, I take them and they really help!!! 5Not for me.This "supplement" made me sick. I felt like I'd eaten bad food, if you get my drift. Yes, I followed directions. 1Great Supplement!I have been using chrolella and specifically this brand for two years now. I like to combine it with Spirulina and it works wonders in your body. I take 3 tablets per day and my digestive system has never been so healthy! I have more energy, I am more alert and my bowel movements are more regular and softer. Overall this product has helped me to better my health and body :) 5Nope!These things are awfully hard to swallow. I have a horribly sensitive gag reflex and just can't manage to get these down without nearly choking and nearly puking. Not joking. I tried breaking them in half and still, way too coarse and too large. Waste of money... darn 1My Favorite Form of Chlorella--Tablets are MUCH Easier to Take Than PowdersChlorella is one of my favorite supplements and Now's tablets are a neat & clean way to take it. It's essential to find a form with "broken cell walls" to maximize your body's utilization of the chlorophyll these contain (chlorella is a form of algae). These are DRY tablets and are completely "mess-free." I take about 6 at a time, usually just once or twice a week. Most people will want to take a lower dose, daily.I find chlorella to be a potent energizer & I like the way it makes me feel. It naturally contains small amounts of iron and iodine and is an effective chelating agent (it will help remove heavy metals from your system). It's considered a "superfood" and is a great way for vegetarians to add a high quality protein source (research quantity though--Now's powdered version's a better option for this purpose).Start out taking just 2 tablets per dose until you learn how your body tolerates this; if you have a substantial load of heavy metals in your system, it may actually make you feel a little worse before you feel better. ALWAYS drink lots of water during the day while you take it--you need to help your body rid itself of the excess waste products this will remove from your system. Use caution if you're on any pharmaceutical medications, particularly if you use coumadin/warfarin or if you have impaired kidney or liver function. A little online research will pay huge dividends.Personally, chlorella seems to enhance my thyroid function; I have much more energy on the days I take this, and use it accordingly. It also seems to help reduce allergy symptoms for me. Now is one of the supplement brands I trust highly; their quality control seems to be outstanding and the prices are very reasonable for high quality supplements. Leave a comment & I'll be happy to help you, if I can. 5BMAA Risk (ALA Disease)While I believe NOW makes high quality supplements, blue green algae s especially from China region have been found to contain BMAA higher than most others. BMAA causes neurodegenerative disease such as Lou Gehrig s Disease and this is a concern for me. It is up to each customer to weigh the benefits and risks but for me, it is not worth the risk, thank you. 2A Great Way To Lose Weight and/or Feel Energized!I love this Chlorella! It s much easier to take than having to make a smoothie with Chlorella or Spirulina powder every-single-morning. In the past, there were some days where I had no desire for a smoothie, and still had to mix a banana(to cut the flavor of the powder), plus cut and add the other fruits, super foods, seeds etc. The really fun part was the washing of the VitaMix container...Yay Chlorella Tablets! I take three tablets in the morning and as a result, have twice the energy! It s a mellow kind of energy plus mental clarity that lasts me throughout the afternoon. I haven t yet experienced any coffee-like jitters or ever felt too buzzed. I m able to do twice the amount of housework, or plow through a sink of dirty dishes stat!! 5There's a heap of benefits in these tabs -- without measuring any powder!My naturopath has both my wife and I taking chlorella (1000 mg/3x day) and spirulina (500 mg/3x day). I was getting the NOW brand's 500 mg tablets, but when I found these 1000 mg tabs I made the switch. Whereas the 500 mg tabs are small and round and look just like the spirulina, these 1000 mg versions are longer tabs. Now I have no confusion about which tab is which.If you're wondering what the benefits are for taking this, I strongly recommend doing an Internet search for "Benefits of Chlorella." There are a heap of benefits! A small percentage of people can experience minor side effects during the first week or so of taking it (such as gas or diarrhea), but nobody in our family had any of that. Like I said, if you're on the fence and wondering if you should take this, do a search for the product's benefits. No wonder our naturopath got us on these right away. 5I'll buy them again in the future.I noticed a huge difference taking these within 2 weeks of using them. These capsules are easy to swallow, just don't leave them sitting in your mouth too long before you throw the water back. Definitely helps my digestion and overall health! I like these enough that I'll buy them again in the future. 5I know because my kids like to chew them up and they always ask for ...I've bought this several times now and the whole family likes it. For some reason, the 500mg ones taste different than these. I know because my kids like to chew them up and they always ask for the 1,000mg tabs. Chlorella is really good for detoxing your body- I started taking it during pregnancy as studies showed a 40% decrease in contaminants passing to the fetus, same for breastfeeding. But I do take a very high dose daily in order to achieve what studies have shown. Great all around. 5
