    NOW Essential Oil Must Have!I buy NOW essential oil products at a local health food store and this is a very good price. I use this carrier oil in an anti-aging blend that I use daily. Really helps with those fine lines. Smells great too! I was a little reluctant to purchase threw the mail because I didn't want to receive a mess in a box. The oil was packaged very well and was in a plastic bag for protection. Excellent product!5Wonderfully moisturizing and calming for the skin Gorgeous product! Keep in mind that this product needs to be refrigerated after opening. 5I used this as a base oil to add essential ...I used this as a base oil to add essential oils to, to make a face oil. I use it instead of moisturizer. I've kept it in the refrigerator and it has lasted well. No odd smells or any other issues. Does not cause breakouts or any other issues.5Cleared up outbreaks I've had hormonal outbreaks on my chin and jaw region for the past year or two, and nothing worked for it. And Another Recommendation.......I first started buying Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) after researching natural cures for acne. I'd been eating super healthy for months on end, taking excellent care of my skin, and couldn't figure out how to clear up my skin (I later learned that my primary issue were the parabens in many of my skin and hair products and going paraben free took care of the majority of my acne)...I read that EPO helps eliminate the white sebum under the skin that causes white heads so I gave it a shot. Of course at first after taking it, you'll experience some whiteheads as your skin purges the gunk but after a while, it really clears the skin of them completely! I had to take them for over a month, 1-3 times per day (depending on how often I remembered) before I really saw the total difference.The other benefit I saw after a month or so was that my PMS pain was greatly reduced and my breast tenderness in the days prior to my cycle was completely gone. I now recommend this supplement to almost everyone I know, it has so many health benefits! If I miss it for a few days I notice the difference in my skin pretty quickly.I now only take one a day, sometimes twice a day during PMS times. Here is the supplement version I recommend, Evening Primrose Oil 1300mg Royal Brittany Twin Pack American Health Products 12I've read research that explains how EPO can help remove plaque from the arteries and how it can help alleviate arthritic pain. I use this oil to make an essential oil mix for family members with arthritis. (I mix it with other oils that smell better and have other health benefits.) They say it helps with their pain.My husband also takes it as I've read that it can help with tinnitus as well. He couldn't tell you if it helps or not but I know he doesn't complain about his tinnitus bothering him like he did before he was taking it.Highly recommend both the supplement and the topical oil. Hope this is helpful!5Irritated my skinThe first bottle of Evening Primrose Oil I received was good - I liked the way it felt on my skin, and had no ill effects - so when I started getting low on it I ordered a second bottle. This 2nd bottle irritated my skin and my face started breaking out, so I had to stop using it. Unfortunately, since I didn't open it right away, the return window had closed, so I can't return it.1Works but has an Odd smellI am updating this review as this product has been very helpful in clearing up my acne. I had acne here and there but a few months ago I developed severe breakouts across both sides of my face that wouldn't go away. When I first got this product I was put off by the weird smell wondering if it may be rancid or if that's what it naturally smells like. I was desperate so I decided to use it despite the smell. I refrigerated it to prevent it from becoming rancid (if it wasn't already). Refrigerating it keeps it from smelling as bad I think. Besides that my breakouts have been clearing up amazingly and no new breakouts have formed. I apply the oil directly to my face twice a day after washing. I have seen an improvement.5Used this for perineal massagesThis might be TMI, but I used this for perineal massages starting at 34 weeks of my pregnancy. I wanted to do what I could to prevent tearing during labor. I ended up going into labor at 38 weeks and 3 days. I had no perineal tearing. Although I can't say for sure Evening Primrose Oil was the reason that I didn't tear, I think it really helped. I felt moisturized and my skin was soft. I even used this on my face. During pregnancy, sometimes the skin on our hands and face can gets patchy and flaky. I even used some of this oil on my face and the patchy parts on my hands. It cleared it up and my face didn't have any break outs, I just ended up with soft skin.5Beneficial for wrinkles, rosacea, acne etcI absolutely love the way my face feels when using this! I suffer with rosacea and ichthyosis. I am extremely sensitive to everything ! This has a very light rose scent that fades quickly and the oil is not thick , it s very light feeling on the skin.
